Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at La Paz - Bolivia.
Welcome to La Paz, the highest capital city in the world. Upon arrival at the airport, our guide will be waiting to greet you and take you to the hotel, where you can relax and start enjoying the city. This day is perfect for resting and acclimatizing. The adventure will begin the following day!
Day 2: City Tour La Paz.
After a delicious breakfast, we will explore some of the most iconic places in La Paz. We begin at Plaza Murillo, where the main government buildings are located, and then take a stroll through the Witch's Market, a place filled with souvenirs and magic.
Later, we will visit Jaén Street, one of the best-preserved colonial streets in the city, famous for its artistic atmosphere. A visit to the Museum of Precious Metals is a must to learn more about Bolivia's rich history. To end the day, we will take a ride on the famous La Paz cable car, offering breathtaking views of the city and the Andean mountains.
We will conclude with a visit to the fascinating Valley of the Moon, famous for its unique landscape that resembles the moon.
Day 3: La Paz - Uyuni.
On this day, we will travel from La Paz to Uyuni, a magical place known for its vast salt flat. First, we visit the Train Cemetery, where you can see old train carriages from the 1930s. Then, we head to Colchani, a picturesque village where the salt extraction process is still done by hand, and you can purchase handmade souvenirs made of salt. Afterward, we venture to Incahuasi Island, located in the middle of the salt flat, famous for its giant cacti and unique ecosystem.
To end the day, we will enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the salt flat, accompanied by a toast with Bolivian liquors. And if you still have energy, we invite you to a night tour to see the stars like never before.
Day 4: Uyuni - Colchani.
Start the day with a stop at the Ollagüe Volcano viewpoint, located on the border with Chile, where you can observe this active volcano. Then, we head to Laguna Cañapa, a beautiful place where you can see Andean flamingos in their natural habitat. Next, we continue to Laguna Hedionda, famous for its peculiar sulfur smell, home to various bird species, such as the James' flamingo.
Next, we visit Laguna Turquiri, where you can appreciate nearby rock formations. We end the day at the Valley of Rocks and the Church of San Cristóbal. Then, we return to the hotel to rest.
Day 5: Colchani - Uyuni - La Paz.
After breakfast, we depart from Colchani towards the Uyuni airport to take the flight to La Paz. Upon arrival, our guide will greet you at the airport and take you to your hotel.
If time permits, you can take advantage of your free time to do an optional activity. We recommend visiting Tiwanaku, a fascinating archaeological site that houses ruins from one of Bolivia's oldest civilizations. There, you will see impressive monuments and structures that continue to generate mysteries among archaeologists.
Day 6: La paz - Home.
This is the last day of this incredible journey. After breakfast, you will have some free time before your transfer to the airport for your flight back home. We say goodbye with unforgettable memories of Bolivia and the promise of new adventures.
