Itinerary
Day 1: Sacred Valley.
Start your adventure with pickup from your hotel in Cusco. From there, we will head to the beautiful Sacred Valley. During the journey, we will make our first stop at the artisanal market of Qorao, where you can appreciate local crafts.
We will continue to Pisac, making a brief stop for photographs. Upon arrival, we will visit the impressive archaeological site and then explore the traditional market of the town, ideal for finding unique souvenirs.
Next, we will head to Urubamba, passing through the picturesque towns of Coya, Lama, and Calca. In Urubamba, we will enjoy a delicious lunch at a tourist restaurant featuring the rich local gastronomy.
After lunch, we will depart for Ollantaytambo to visit its fascinating archaeological site and stroll through the local market. Depending on availability, we will take a train to Machu Picchu, enjoying the panoramic views along the way.
Finally, we will arrive in Aguas Calientes, where our team will be waiting to take you to your hotel. Please note that there are no vehicles in Aguas Calientes, so you will need to walk to your accommodation.
Day 2: Machu Picchu.
Start the day with a bus ride from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu, with the schedule adjusted to your convenience. Once in the citadel, you will enjoy a guided tour that will allow you to learn about the history and secrets of this incredible place.
After the tour, you will have free time to explore Machu Picchu at your own pace, capturing the beauty of the ruins and the stunning landscape that surrounds them. This is a perfect opportunity to enjoy this UNESCO World Heritage site.
In the afternoon, you will return by bus to Aguas Calientes, where you can enjoy lunch and relax for a bit. Afterwards, you will have free time to explore the charming town and its shops.
In the late afternoon, you will check in at the train station for your return journey to Ollantaytambo. Once there, you will take a tourist bus back to Cusco.
Finally, you will arrive in Cusco and be transferred to your hotel, concluding this memorable adventure in Machu Picchu.
