Itinerary
We begin our tour with a pickup from your hotel, heading to the Killi Killi natural viewpoint. This iconic spot offers unparalleled panoramic views of La Paz and its towering guardian, the Illimani snow-capped mountain. It’s the perfect place to take in the grandeur and diversity of the city.
Our next stop is the historic heart of La Paz, Plaza Murillo. Here, you’ll see the Bolivian government palace, known as the Burned Palace, the impressive Cathedral, and other significant landmarks steeped in history and culture.
We continue south to the mesmerizing Valley of the Moon. On the way, we’ll pass by a replica of the semi-subterranean temple of Tiwanaku, located near the city stadium. Upon arrival, we’ll walk through this surreal landscape of geological formations sculpted by wind erosion, offering an otherworldly experience.
Next, we take to the skies on La Paz’s modern cable cars, the highest in the world. These aerial rides provide breathtaking views of the cityscape, its contrasting urban and natural elements, and the majestic Illimani in the background.
Finally, we visit the famous Witches’ Market, a place rich in tradition and Andean ancestral rituals. The tour concludes at San Francisco Church, a masterpiece of mestizo-baroque architecture adorned with indigenous and Catholic symbols. Its surroundings invite you to explore colorful crafts and steep streets full of culture and charm.
