Itinerary

Puno – Copacabana – Island of the Sun (Southern Part)

Following the Footsteps of the Inca Empire
Your adventure begins early with pick-up from your hotel in Puno and a scenic drive to Copacabana, one of the most iconic towns of the Bolivian highlands. The journey, approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes, offers panoramic views of the Royal Mountain Range and Lake Titicaca.
Upon arrival in Copacabana, you will have time to enjoy lunch and explore this charming town filled with history and devotion. Afterwards, we will board a motorboat to the southern part of the Island of the Sun, sailing across the sacred waters where, according to legend, Manco Cápac and Mama Ocllo were born.
On the Island of the Sun, we will visit ceremonial altars, the Inca Stairway, and the Sacred Fountains, where you may drink the water believed to symbolize eternal youth. We will continue with a walk to the Pilkokaina Temple, surrounded by agricultural terraces and breathtaking lake views.
At the end of the day, you will stay in a local lodge and enjoy an unforgettable sunset from a natural viewpoint, a magical moment of peace and spiritual connection on Lake Titicaca.
