Itinerary

Day 1

Chachapoyas – Karajía – City Tour

Guided hike to the Karajía Sarcophagi, remarkable funerary structures set high on cliffs. Lunch in a local home followed by a walking tour of Chachapoyas. End the day with an organic coffee tasting.

Day 2

Chachapoyas – Kuelap – Milpuj

Transfer to the cable car station and guided visit to the Kuelap fortress. After lunch, continue to the Milpuj – La Heredad Conservation Area for nature walks. Overnight surrounded by natural landscapes.

Day 3

Milpuj – Revash – Leymebamba

Visit the Revash Mausoleums and their ancient cliffside structures. After lunch, transfer to Leymebamba with free time to explore and enjoy the town’s atmosphere.

Day 4

Leymebamba – Museum – Cocachimba

Hands-on experience with local wood artisans followed by a visit to the Leymebamba Museum, home to an important collection of mummies and archaeological artifacts. Transfer to Cocachimba and free time.

Day 5

Gocta Waterfall – Chachapoyas

Guided hike to Gocta Waterfall, surrounded by cloud forest and rich biodiversity. Lunch along the route and return to Chachapoyas.
