Cultural journey through Uros, Amantaní, and Taquile
We take you to explore the most representative islands of Lake Titicaca through real cultural experiences, local interaction, and personalized attention throughout the journey.
Day 1: Puno – Uros – Llachón
We will pick you up from your hotel in Puno and take you to the port to board a boat heading to the Uros Floating Islands, where you will learn about the ancestral techniques used to build the islands with totora reeds.
Then we will sail to the peninsula of Llachón, where a local family will welcome you into their rural home. You will share daily activities such as farming, artisanal fishing, and weaving, while also participating in cultural workshops.
In the afternoon, you may enjoy kayaking, sailing rides, or panoramic hikes surrounded by the landscapes of Lake Titicaca. The day ends with a traditional Andean dinner and stories about the local worldview.
Day 2: Llachón – Amantani
The day begins with a traditional breakfast and a demonstration of Andean medicinal plants.
Later, we will sail to Amantaní Island, where you will share a traditional lunch with local families. In the afternoon, we will hike to the temples of Pachamama and Pachatata, where you can enjoy a breathtaking sunset over Lake Titicaca.
The evening concludes with a traditional dinner and the opportunity to participate in a cultural gathering with music and traditional dances.
Day 3: Amantani – Taquile – Puno
After breakfast, we will say goodbye to the host families and depart for Taquile Island, famous for its extraordinary textile tradition.
We will walk to the main square while observing local artisans creating textiles that reflect their cultural identity. At midday, we will share a traditional lunch before returning by boat to Puno.
This marks the end of an authentic and unforgettable experience on Lake Titicaca.
