Well-organized itinerary from Puno
We take care of transfers, navigation, and all logistics from Puno, with a professional guide throughout the day for a smooth and safe experience.
We begin the day with hotel pick-up in Puno and transfer to the port, where we board a speedboat to start navigating Lake Titicaca. During the journey, we accompany the route with information about the surroundings, the history of the lake, and the communities that live along its shores.
Our first stop is Taquile Island. We walk along stone paths surrounded by agricultural terraces and open lake views, while sharing the significance of Taquile’s textile art, recognized for its symbolism and its generational transmission within the community.
We then continue to Luquina, a quiet peninsula on the shores of the lake, where local families welcome us. Here, we enjoy an Andean buffet lunch prepared with regional products and traditional recipes, in a space designed for rest and conversation with the landscape as a backdrop.
In the afternoon, we navigate to the floating islands of the Uros, where we visit one of these islands built entirely from totora reeds. We accompany the visit with an explanation of their origins, current way of life, and the techniques that keep these islands alive on the water.
Optionally, those who wish may take a ride on a traditional totora reed boat, handcrafted by the local inhabitants.
We conclude the day with the return to Puno and transfer back to your hotel, closing a day of cultural exchange and landscapes that remain in memory.
