Itinerary
Day 1 Puno – Taquile – Luquina – Uros Islands – Puno
Pickup and Departure from Puno
We will begin with pickup from your hotel in Puno and transfer to the port. There, we will board a speedboat and start navigating Lake Titicaca.
Taquile Island
Our first visit will be Taquile Island, known for its landscapes, agricultural terraces and textile tradition. We will walk along stone paths while enjoying open views of the lake.
Luquina and Andean Lunch
We will then continue to Luquina, a peaceful peninsula on the shores of Lake Titicaca. Local families will welcome us, and we will enjoy an Andean buffet lunch prepared with local products.
Uros Floating Islands
In the afternoon, we will sail to the Uros Islands, built with totora reeds. We will visit a floating island and learn about its origin, way of life and maintenance techniques.
Optional Totora Reed Boat Ride
Optionally, you may take a ride on a traditional totora reed boat, one of the most representative experiences of Lake Titicaca.
Return to Puno
We will finish with the boat ride back to Puno and transfer to your hotel.
