Uros – Taquile – Luquina Tour 2D/1N

Why choose this tour?

1

Authenticity in Luquina

On the peaceful Chucuito peninsula lies Luquina, a welcoming community that proudly preserves Andean traditions and shares its culture with visitors.

2

Nature and unique landscapes

From its hills, panoramic views of Lake Titicaca unfold, with sunsets that paint the sky in warm colors and create an atmosphere of serenity.

3

Homemade and experiential gastronomy

Local families prepare traditional dishes with organic products from the area: quinoa, native potatoes, fresh trout, and Andean herbs, offering an authentic culinary experience.

We will pick you up from your hotel in Puno and accompany you to the port to embark together towards the Uros Floating Islands. There you will discover the life of this ancestral community that inhabits islands made of totora reeds, learning about their customs and survival techniques on the highest navigable lake in the world.
We will then continue to Taquile Island, famous for the textile art of its inhabitants, whose weaving has been recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. You will enjoy a traditional lunch prepared with local products while admiring panoramic views of Lake Titicaca.
In the afternoon, we will head to the community of Luquina, where you will be warmly welcomed by local families who will host you in their guesthouses. This welcome marks the beginning of your experiential stay, sharing directly with the population their customs and way of life.
