The tour begins with pickup from your hotel in downtown Puno as we travel toward the impressive archaeological complex of Sillustani, located on the shores of the mystical Umayo Lagoon. This experience is designed for travelers seeking to discover the connection between ancient history, Andean culture, and the natural beauty of the highlands.

Upon arrival, we will enjoy a traditional boat ride across Umayo Lagoon, surrounding the Intimocco plateau, home to wild vicuñas. We will navigate through peaceful Andean landscapes while enjoying privileged views of Sillustani and the vast altiplano scenery, creating a unique connection with nature.

Afterward, we will begin the guided visit through the impressive funerary towers (chullpas) built by the Kolla and Inca cultures. During the tour, the guide will explain the symbolic meaning of these ancestral monuments and the Andean beliefs related to life, death, and ancestor worship.

As part of the experience, we will also visit small local farms where visitors can observe llamas, alpacas, guinea pig farms, and traditional Andean products made by local communities.

Finally, we return to Puno with not only memorable photographs, but also a deeper connection to the cultural heritage of the Andes.
