Moon Island
Embark on an unforgettable experience in Bolivia, sailing across the waters of majestic Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world. The tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Copacabana and transfer to the pier to board the boat. The first stop will be Moon Island, once home to the priestesses of the Sun during the Inca Empire. There, we will explore the ruins of the Temple of the Virgins, with stone-carved reliefs and privileged views of the lake.
Sun Island – North Zone
We will continue to Sun Island, considered in Inca mythology as the birthplace of the sun. During the guided visit, you will discover archaeological and symbolic sites such as the Sacrifice Table, the Chinkana Labyrinth, Mermaid Beach, the Sacred Rock and the famous Footprints of the Sun.
Lunch and Return
Around 3:00 p.m., we will make a short stop at a small floating island built using traditional totora reed techniques. There, we will enjoy a lunch of fried trout, a regional specialty. Finally, we will return to Copacabana between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., depending on weather conditions.
