Juliaca Airport – Sillustani – Puno

Your experience begins at Inca Manco Cápac International Airport in Juliaca, where our team will welcome you before setting off for the Sillustani Archaeological Complex.

On a short walk, you’ll admire the impressive chullpas, ancient funerary towers built by pre-Inca and Inca cultures, while taking in the beautiful scenery around Lake Umayo.

On the way to Puno, we’ll stop at rural homes where you can get a glimpse of daily life, discover local Andean products and handicrafts, and see South American camelids up close. Finally, we’ll take you to your hotel.

Day 2
Uros Islands – Capachica – Paramis

We’ll pick you up from your hotel and take you to Puno’s port, where you’ll board a fast boat to the floating Uros Islands. There, you’ll learn about traditional island-building techniques and the everyday life of the local residents.

Next, we’ll head to the Capachica Peninsula, where you’ll enjoy an Andean box lunch before setting off on a downhill bike ride to Paramis, passing through rural landscapes and local communities along the way.

Upon arrival, local families will welcome you to a rural homestay, where you’ll share a traditional lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll take part in cultural activities, traditional dances, and a hands-on craft experience focused on local textiles and traditional clothing. The day ends with a home-cooked dinner and an overnight stay at the community-run lodge.

Day 3
Paramis – Kayaking on Lake Titicaca – Amantaní

The morning begins with a breathtaking sunrise over Lake Titicaca, followed by a traditional breakfast by the water.

Next, enjoy a kayaking adventure at 3,812 meters above sea level, paddling across the lake while taking in the stunning Andean scenery. Afterward, we’ll share some Andean snacks before continuing to Amantaní Island.

Upon arrival, your host family will welcome you to your assigned homestay, where you’ll enjoy a lunch prepared with locally sourced ingredients. In the afternoon, you’ll hike to the Pachatata ceremonial center, a wonderful spot to admire the lake and the Andes as the sun sets.

After dinner, you’ll have the option to join a traditional gathering hosted by local families, featuring live music and folk dances.

Day 4
Amantaní – Taquile Island – Puno

After breakfast with your host family, we’ll head to Taquile Island, known for its rich traditions and remarkable textile art.

From the port, we’ll begin an uphill walk to the main square, taking in views of the lake and glimpses of everyday life in the local community. We’ll visit a local handicraft market, where traditional textiles take center stage, followed by a typical lunch at a local restaurant.

Finally, we’ll sail back to Puno, arriving at approximately 3:30 p.m., and take you to your hotel.

Day 5
Aymara Route

At 8:30 a.m., we’ll depart from Puno and head to Chucuito, where you’ll visit Inca Uyo, the Inca fertility temple, along with the main square, the Renaissance-style church, and the sundial.

Next, we’ll continue to Thunco, in Ácora, where ancient geoglyphs and agricultural structures reveal the close connection between early communities and Pachamama, Mother Earth. In Molloco, you’ll see funerary structures associated with the Lupaca and Aymara cultures.

Our route then takes us to Aramu Muru, an enigmatic stone portal steeped in the ancestral beliefs of the Andean highlands. Before returning to Puno, you’ll enjoy a local lunch in Juli. We expect to arrive back in Puno between 5:30 and 6:00 p.m.
