At 6:15 a.m., we begin the day with hotel pickup in Puno, as the city slowly awakens. This marks the beginning of a journey that goes beyond distance, becoming an experience felt in every moment.

As we travel forward, the highlands reveal their essence through vast horizons and deep silence. Our first stop is the serene Lagunillas Lagoon, a natural mirror where sky and water merge. Here, Andean wildlife appears gracefully: flamingos, wild ducks, and Andean seagulls drifting through the crisp air.

The journey continues across the expansive Pampa Cañahuas, located within the remarkable Reserva Nacional de Salinas y Aguada Blanca. This landscape is home to elegant vicuñas, along with llamas and alpacas, reflecting the living spirit of the Andes.

We then ascend to the Patapampa Viewpoint, the highest point of the route at over 4,900 meters above sea level. From here, the Western Andes Range unfolds dramatically, showcasing peaks such as Ampato and the volcanoes Sabancaya, Misti, and Chachani.

After approximately a 6-hour journey, we arrive in Chivay around midday. In the afternoon, enjoy the La Calera hot springs, a perfect setting for relaxation and wellness.

The day ends with hotel transfer, leaving you with a truly memorable and enriching experience.

After breakfast, at around 6:30 a.m., we begin one of the most remarkable experiences of the journey. We head toward the iconic Cruz del Cóndor Viewpoint, located in the heart of the Colca Canyon, where nature reveals its grandeur. This is the perfect setting to witness the majestic flight of the Andean condor, one of the largest flying birds in the world, soaring above the canyon depths.

On the return journey, the experience unfolds through both landscapes and culture. We visit the viewpoints of Wayrapunko, Andaguilque, and Choquetico, each offering unique perspectives of the valley. We also pass through the traditional villages of Pinchollo, Maca, Achoma, and Yanque, where Andean heritage remains alive and authentic.

Along the way, you will admire the winding Colca River and the impressive pre-Inca agricultural terraces, reflecting centuries of ancestral knowledge in harmony with nature.

Upon returning to Chivay, enjoy a buffet lunch, a perfect moment to relax and recharge.

Finally, we continue the journey to Arequipa, arriving at approximately 5:00 p.m., followed by hotel transfer, concluding a day filled with breathtaking scenery, culture, and unforgettable moments.
