Puno - Colca Canyon - Arequipa 2D

We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Puno and set off toward the Colca Valley, traveling through the breathtaking landscapes of the Peruvian Andes.

Along the way, we’ll stop at Lagunillas Lagoon, where you may spot flamingos and other Andean birdlife; the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, home to vicuñas, llamas, and alpacas; and the Patapampa Viewpoint (4,910 m / 16,109 ft above sea level), offering spectacular views of the Ampato, Sabancaya, Misti, and Chachani volcanoes.

Around midday, we’ll arrive in Chivay, where you’ll have free time for lunch. In the afternoon, you can unwind in the La Calera Hot Springs, surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the valley.

After the day’s activities, we’ll take you to your hotel in Chivay, where you’ll spend the night before continuing the tour the following day.

After breakfast, we’ll head to the Cruz del Cóndor Viewpoint, one of the highlights of Colca Canyon, where you’ll have the chance to witness the majestic Andean condor soaring above one of the world’s deepest canyons.

On the way back to Chivay, we’ll stop at the Wayrapunko, Antahuilque, and Choquetico viewpoints and visit the traditional villages of Pinchollo, Maca, Achoma, and Yanque. Along the way, you’ll enjoy views of the Colca River and the ancient agricultural terraces that shape the valley’s distinctive landscape.

Once back in Chivay, you’ll have a buffet lunch before we continue to Arequipa, arriving at approximately 5:00 p.m. This marks the end of our journey through the Colca Valley and Canyon.

• Accommodation in Chivay is not included in the tour price. You’ll need to arrange and pay for your own hotel. However, transportation to and from your hotel in Chivay is included.

• The Colca Tourist Ticket (BTC) is not included in the tour price and must be paid separately. The fee varies depending on your nationality or country of origin, so please factor this additional cost into your travel budget.
