Itinerary

Day 1

Cusco – Vistadome Train – Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco

Pickup and Transfer to the Station

We will begin with pickup from your hotel in Cusco at 6:30 a.m. and private transfer to Poroy train station. During the low season, from January to April, pickup will be at 6:00 a.m. with departure from Ollantaytambo.

Vistadome Train Journey

We will board the panoramic Vistadome train to Aguas Calientes, enjoying Andean landscapes along the way.

Arrival in Aguas Calientes

Upon arrival, our guide will be waiting at the train station to begin the bus transfer to the Machu Picchu citadel.

Guided Tour of Machu Picchu

We will explore Machu Picchu on a guided tour of approximately 2 and a half hours, learning about its history, architecture, main sectors and viewpoints.

Free Time and Return

After the visit, you will have time to take photos or continue enjoying the sanctuary. Then we will descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch and board the return train in the afternoon.

Return to Cusco

Upon arrival at Poroy or Ollantaytambo station, our private transport will take you back to your hotel in Cusco, with arrival around 10:00 p.m.
