Itinerary

Day 1

Cusco – Sacred Valley of the Incas – Aguas Calientes

Your journey to one of the greatest icons of the Inca civilization begins with a pickup from your hotel in Cusco between 7:15 and 7:20 a.m. as we head toward the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Our first stop is the impressive Pisac Archaeological Site, perched high above the valley. Here, you will explore its remarkable stone terraces, ancient irrigation systems, ceremonial structures, and the largest Inca cemetery, while enjoying breathtaking panoramic views of the Sacred Valley. Afterwards, we will visit the traditional Pisac Market, where you can browse handcrafted alpaca textiles, ceramics, Andean musical instruments, silver jewelry, and other local artisan products.

We will then continue through the picturesque villages of Lamay, Calca, and Yucay before arriving in Urubamba, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit Ollantaytambo, recognized as one of the World’s Best Tourism Villages. Here, you will explore its impressive Inca fortress, built with massive stone terraces that once served as an important military, agricultural, and ceremonial center.

After the guided tour, you will have free time to stroll through this living Inca town before heading to the train station. At the scheduled time, you will board the train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo). Upon arrival, our staff will transfer you to your hotel, where you can relax and prepare for your visit to the magnificent Machu Picchu the following day.

Day 2

Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco

Today you will wake up in Aguas Calientes and enjoy breakfast at your hotel before experiencing one of the most anticipated moments of your journey.

At the scheduled time, we will head to the bus station for the scenic ride up to Machu Picchu, the crown jewel of the Inca Empire. From the moment you arrive, the breathtaking scenery and unique atmosphere of this UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World will captivate you. Accompanied by your professional guide, you will explore your assigned circuit while learning about the history, architecture, and mysteries of this extraordinary Inca citadel. Along the way, you will visit ancient temples, agricultural terraces, and scenic viewpoints, with plenty of opportunities to capture unforgettable photographs.

After the guided tour, you will return by bus to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time to enjoy lunch (not included), stroll through the town, or relax in its famous hot springs.

Later, according to your train schedule, you will board the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our staff will be waiting to transfer you comfortably to your hotel in Cusco, bringing this unforgettable adventure to a close.
