Itinerary

Day 1

Iquitos – Nanay River – Amazon River – Amazon Communities – Fundo Pedrito – Iquitos

Departure and Amazon Navigation

Pickup from your hotel and transfer to Bellavista Nanay Port. We will begin navigating the Nanay River until it meets the Amazon, observing landscapes and local riverside life.

Butterfly Farm and Rescue Center

We will visit a conservation area, where you will learn about the life cycle of butterflies and see part of the rescued Amazonian wildlife.

Indigenous Communities

We will arrive at Amazonian communities with a traditional welcome, where you will learn about their customs, rituals and handicrafts.

Typical Amazonian Lunch

We will enjoy lunch on the Amazon River, with the possibility of spotting pink and gray dolphins during the tour.

Fundo Pedrito and Jungle Walk

We will visit Fundo Pedrito to observe caimans, piranhas and the Victoria Regia. Then we will take a short walk to a giant ceiba tree in the jungle.

Primate Center and Return

Finally, we will visit a rescue center for primates and birds before returning to Iquitos at the end of the afternoon.
