Itinerary

Day 1

Tarapoto – Santa Elena Reserve – Palestina Caves – Tarapoto

Departure from Tarapoto

We will pick you up early from your hotel to begin the adventure toward the province of Rioja, crossing high jungle landscapes and natural surroundings.

Santa Elena Ecological Reserve

Upon arrival, we will board a traditional boat to navigate through the reserve’s flooded channels, surrounded by palm swamps and renaco trees, while observing birds, monkeys and other species.

Breakfast in Nature

After the boat ride, we will enjoy a countryside breakfast prepared by the local community, surrounded by a peaceful natural setting.

Palestina Caves

We will continue to the village of Palestina to explore its impressive caves. Equipped with a helmet, flashlight and boots, we will walk through underground galleries with stalactites, stalagmites and natural formations.

Regional Lunch

After the cave experience, we will enjoy a typical lunch at a local restaurant, with representative flavors of the jungle.

Return to Tarapoto

In the afternoon, we will begin the return trip to Tarapoto, ending an experience that combines nature, adventure and local culture.
