We will meet at the designated meeting point in Puerto Maldonado to begin an exciting adventure in the Tambopata Reserve. Our journey starts with a 45-minute boat ride along the river, entering the heart of the Peruvian Amazon Rainforest while enjoying the sights and sounds of the jungle.
Upon arrival, we will walk across the hanging bridges, offering spectacular views of the forest canopy and the opportunity to spot a variety of Amazonian birds, including toucans, tanagers, parrots, and other native species.
The adventure continues with an exhilarating canopy (zipline) experience, allowing you to glide above the rainforest and enjoy a unique perspective of one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on Earth.
At midday, we will enjoy a delicious Amazonian lunch prepared with local ingredients before continuing with the afternoon activities.
Later, we will embark on a kayaking experience on the Madre de Dios River, where you can observe Amazon wildlife such as turtles, caimans, butterflies, and other species that inhabit the riverbanks.
Our final stop will be Monkey Island, a rescue and rehabilitation center dedicated to the conservation of Amazonian primates. Here, you will learn about their important conservation work and observe different monkey species in a natural environment.
At the end of the tour, we will return by boat to Puerto Maldonado, arriving between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m., concluding a day filled with adventure, nature, and unforgettable encounters in the Tambopata Rainforest.
