Itinerary
Upon arrival in Tarapoto, you will be welcomed at the airport and transferred to your selected hotel. In the afternoon, the experience begins with a short scenic drive toward Lamas, a traditional town surrounded by high jungle landscapes.
Once there, you will explore its streets and learn why it is known as the “City of Three Levels,” understanding its cultural importance in the region. The visit continues at the iconic Lamas Castle, a unique medieval-style structure where you can walk through its spaces and enjoy panoramic views of the jungle.
The day ends with a meaningful visit to the Kechwa Wayku native community, where you will connect directly with local traditions, lifestyle and cultural expressions before returning to Tarapoto.
