SALAR DE UYUNI – INCAHUASI ISLAND
Transfer La Paz – Uyuni One day before the tour, we will pick you up from your hotel or provide a meeting point at the La Paz bus station (pre-arranged). At 8:00 p.m., board the sleeper bus to Uyuni, arriving around 5:00 a.m. Upon arrival, our team will assist you and provide free time to rest. _____________________________________ At 10:30 a.m., the adventure begins in Uyuni. First, visit the Train Cemetery, an open-air museum with 19th-century locomotives that tell the region’s railway history. Next, transfer to Colchani village to learn about the artisanal salt process and purchase local salt crafts or llama and alpaca textiles. Enter Salar de Uyuni, exploring the Salt Mounds and Salt Eyes. Visit the Salt Hotel (Museum) and enjoy included lunch. Continue to Incahuasi Island, home to giant cacti and petrified coral rock formations, with panoramic viewpoints ideal for photos. Return to accommodation to rest.
HISTORY, LAGOONS & HOT SPRINGS
After breakfast, visit the colonial church of Tomave, an example of colonial Baroque architecture and a historical refuge during the War of the Pacific. Transfer to the Saruvo hot springs to relax in a unique natural setting. Explore Altiplano lagoons such as Laguna K’asilla and Laguna Verde, with stunning colors and landscapes. Lunch included and return to Uyuni, arriving around 6:00 p.m., completing the two-day experience.
